I have a Spin Doctor, but so far haven't tried it out. Perhaps as I get into fishing more this year I'll get the opportunity.

One method I use with my fixed spools is to stand on a bridge over a stream, allow the line to pay out downstream as much as I dare, using a small shot to help the line start moving, and reel it back in. You don't want so much weight that it will catch on the bottom!

You can also allow the line to pay out behind a briskly moving boat.

Just use the spin doctor, works a treat every time. I use mine every two or three trips.

The Spin doctor is a great little loece of 'kit'

I use mine after every trip.

Line twist is a reel (sic) nuisance, and this clever pice of kit does exactly what is says on the box.
