Hi All. I am looking for information, tips, and advice on taking Bass on the Fly. I am planning on giving it a go this summer. Venues anybody? Anywhere from Portsmouth to Bourenmouth is not a problem, however being new to the region I just need to know where to go. Flies, tackle, tactics, tides, season, time. All the usual stuff. Also anything else out of the sea on fly, I am all ears.

There's a book called Saltwater Flyfishing in Northern Europe. It's a good place to start. Try ww.amazon.co.uk Let me know if you can't find it.

Hello Sean, The book was written by Paul Morgan and friends. Paul runs Coch-y-Bonddu Books (01654 702837) You'll definitely get a copy there and if Paul is around-some good advice. From memory I think his website is at www.cygnet.co.uk/ukfw/bonddu (but don't quote me on it!)
