The rod is a 10 foot "Silver Monarch" split cane rod and presumably the maker's logo is the above image, but I'm damned if I can place it. Any ideas?

I have a feeling it may be Edgar Sealey?.........but thats just from the back of the old grey matter.

I originally thought it was Edgar Sealey from distant memory, but when researching the logo it is as you say two fish heads.

work your way through that... takes time, only just found it, interesting resource tho.
Or possibly a direct approach to the registrar of trademarks enclosing the photo etc. ?
Niggles the memory, sure I have seen that trademark before but can't for the life of me place a name to it.
