First reasonable fish I've had in ages, felt nice to get something but a jack pike or pasty carp from a stock pond.

To me, canal carp are worth 2 or 3 caught from a lake. There's something special about catching a big carp that's grown naturally rather than being fed a diet of just pellet & boilies. I had my PB from a section of the GU after pre-baiting forabout a month...
