PIKE fishing on the river weaver? HELP!

Does anyone know if there is any nice sized pike or any pike atall in the river weaver because alot of fish got wiped out in the Weaver due to a lack in oxygen a while back.

But i am looking to fish this water or Budworth mere tomorrow so please get back to me, thanks alot, james

I took a pair of big doubles off the Weaver before the kill earlier this season. There's probably been enough time for the population to recolonise the affected area. A lot depends on where you plan to fish.
Budworth may be a better bet at the moment

I fish the weaver for pike most weekends.Had my fair share of decent doubles and plenty of jacks, we have had most of these from the marina right upto the saltworks in winsford.Ive found that most of the bigger doubles have taken to a frozen deadbait floated about a ft from the bottom.
