Mordex Ideal

Hi yall, i was given a old mordex ideal its in pretty good nick but the ferrules want coming off and sorting out as there all abit loose, is it worth me doing do you rekon?, the rest of the rods pretty good.

Also any tips on getting the pins out?
i'd rather not do it if me means damaging the blank
