Hi again. I'm in need of another snippet of info to complete my researches for my pike-fishing history. This time I'm wondering if anyone knows details of the meeting that brought about the formation of the NASG. Eric Hodson called such a meeting, held on 24th April 1965. What i don't know, and would like to find out, is where it was held, and who attended.

Graham.
I know he's left FM but try a PM to Ron Clay, if anyone knows it's him.

I'll go further, it's entirely possible that Nick has the minutes from that first meeting, as Eric gave him a stack of them in my presence at his home after an SACG meeting we'd all been to.

As I said before to you, Monk (Nick Melling) is your man on all things historical in Specialist Angling.

What's happened to the other posts that were on this thread?
I posted in reply to another post by Graham about Mitchell-Hedges and those posts have disappeared?

Hi Colin. They haven't disappeared, they are in a different thread (the first one I started, which is about the BRFC)

Thanks for that 'badass of the week' link: what a guy!
