I'm planning on doing a 36-48 hour session on St John's lake (linear complex) in early to mid May. I was just wondering if anyone here has fished it at all and if so do you have any hints, tips or general advice on tackling the water?

We're hoping to do a midweek session so that there willhopefully be a few swims available but i wasn't sure what depths/underwater features would be the most productive. Hopefully the water will have warmed up a bit from my last trip to linear (brasenose one) when I got snowed on!!

not fished st johns, but boilies / maggots all work well. £25 quid a day they can keep it. three day session on there costs the same as my syndicate water down here for a year!!
