When does the licence run out

I have not got mine with me at work and I was thinking of going fishing tomorrow on a local lake. Do we need to buy the new ones now? If so I had better pop out before I go home..........

No, it runs out at midnight 31st March

Stuart,
You buy your new one on the 1st of april so you are O.K
A year Rod licence's run out on the 31st of march.
A one day licence is valid for 24 consecutive hours.
A eight day licence is valid for 192 consecutive hours

I was pipped at the post,Ron, arr well can't win them all......... now about them socks on the other thread ... plain or do they come with a pattern??????

Rod licences were available from Post Offices on the 14th March. They can be purchased from then and will not become valid until April 1st. You do not lose a couple of weeks by buying one early. I bought mine and my sons at about 11:00am 14th March. Done and sorted for another year.

You can pay by direct debit now. Fill the form in and they automaticaly fleece you for the ?20 or whatever it is and send your new licence on.

A lot of people think that the lisence should last a full year from the date of purchase,to the same date the following year.
