Morespiders says "Got a Jack Hilton 11ft fast taper carp rod here for the auction, 1 3/4 lb test curve made by Alan Brown Hitchen, nearly immaculate condition, circa? cant remember, suppose early 70s?"

due to amount of time left to sort things I will run this for 7 days from now

All monies from auction to go to Norwich & District Diabetes UK Youth Group

and not forgetting the reason for the auctions .................................HERE

Conoflex were brown or black i think..........brown first and when matt black became fashion they went that way.

Superb coarse rods they were/are.

Good on yer Fred, Il'l scratch allthe writing off for you and write your name on itin white paint,

Do you want it in capital's or real writing?.

Best copperplate please. Could you also rename it the Gudgeonmaster, or maybe the Loachlancer?

Better still, if you rebuild it completely in split cane with agate-lined rings throughout, and throw in a wide-brimmedferretskin hat (size 7 & 1/4) with rattlesnake band, I might stretch to £32.50.
