Just been in the loft to look, just says Olivers of Knebworth on them, 8 green lined Fuji rings with black whippings,on a dark green glass blank. I would say the test curve is appx 1 1/2-1 3/4 they are slow taper through action.

Sorry so late in letting you know, getting over my sunstroke from Press Manor.

Yes mate , most likely, the Olivers mentioned,it does not say carp on them or test curve, but certainly not pike rods or meant for tench, so i assume they are the ones in the article. A mate gave them me 15 years ago only used them twice lovely through action.
