I am certainly not a techie - can anyone recommend a printer which can print A4 letters, A4 photos and 6 x 4 photos of a reasonable quality, which is cheap and is easy to use, many thanks. I've probably put this in the wrong forum.

I'd go with the Kodak too just for the price of the replacement cartridges, I have a Brother here at home and nearly fifty quid for a full set is a joke.
If it's just a one off there's always the machines that you see in large supermarkets or Staples but not sure what the quality is like.

I needed an A3 printer and I bought one from these people. http://www.morgancomputers.co.uk They sell you several sets of ink and supply the printer for free. The cartridges are compatible, but the prints are good delivery was prompt. They also supply used lap tops etc at very good prices.
