Theres a nicer shot of it in keiths Gallery, actually it has some lovely Ghost Carp in it as well as some nice Tench, Crucians and Rudd.

We lived near it for 25 years before we even knew it existed./forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif

Yeah, but more importantly.... Does the pellet-wag and splasher float method work down there? /forum/smilies/big_smile_smiley.gif

Seriously though, a thoroughly lovely looking water. You can almost picturethe top of a quill gently lifting and then sliding away and under.

I'm afraid so Nobby, family members of existing members get 1st priority and thenit's normally by membersinvitation only. with membership capped to a maximum of250 (at the landowners request)although its normally kept at around 225. However members can take the occasional guest. There is a long waiting list as no-one seems to want to leave once they have fished there. (I wonder why?). The club has been running the waterfor wellover 60 years, when it used to be very overgrown with lillies and full of wildieswhich over the yearswere replaced by the Leney strain of Carp.We have been careful to keep it a true mixed fisheryandnot just another 'Carp' fishery. /forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif
