in search of a new water

took Buddy out for a walk thought I would have a look at Ashley a 16 acre lake about a mile from me but Ive never fished it or seen it !

I walked quiet away and thought Lee Valley Parks keep it very tidy with some nices touches

I was right ....well found this

I carried on walking for a bit and came across the 1st swim (as I called it)

next swim looked just as good

the was lots of bank with no swims or they had overgrown that I couldnt see them

I took the right turn to stay with the lake

I then got back to the lake where there were some very inviting swims

the last swim

in between the last swim and the first swim is about twenty islands

you have to go down the path above and then you can acces the islands via these bridges

after a quick walk round a couple of the islands and pooing myself with the camera I went home !

The whole place looks amazing - i'm surprised you didn't take a rod down with you just in case. I assume you'll be baiting up then returning later in the year. I can't wait to the see the pictures /forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif
