They gave me a copy of Nikon NX capture with the camera and also a software nikon suite, but even with these apparently you can still download freebies extra from the site once you register according to this guy I was talking too from the local camera club yesterday

Sounds like to much hassel and stress for you Monk.

It sounds like The Monk really does need to get a new computer.

All this kicking of the monitor has done his system no good.

hey its a great camera, its just that i keep pressing things and need to reset default to get it back to the begining again, took some great shots with it, I like the way you can edit on camera with the de-light facility, it shoots darker than the D200 though and I find i`m over compensating more with + and -

Mr Melling, how can we take a thread about cameras seriously?.

Just shows you Nikon haven't got it right yet, the D200 shoots lighter does it?,

Sound's like the D300 isunder compensating for the D200,.

Think you have a duff one sir.

Mine shoots perfectly.

Methinks The Monk needs to learn a little bit more on how it works.

Monk, send your D200 to Mr White to be repaired.

Mr Whites a wiz wiv anything like that.

Also let him look at your D300 as well, sound's like the chip's faulty.

Yes ...

If I can use a D3-- I can certainly use a 'cheapo' D300
