breaking strains

i recently bought some dinsmore hooks to nylon when i looked at them properly i noticed it said 80cm breaking strain any ideas on what this is why dont they just stick to 1bs and ouces geoff

as there is roughly 2.5 cm in an inch80cm must be about 10 tons breaking strain. /forum/smilies/big_smile_smiley.gif

I think it is probably meant to be .008cm or .08mm???/forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif

dinsmores have mislead me its not breaking strain but hook length length got it wrong again sorry ya all geoff

Sit down and compose yourself Geoff, 80cm would be a pretty stiff hooklink, would look a bugger with a 18s hook
