I've just learned that my regular fishing pal Dave Colclough, who some of you will know from Press Manor and other fish-ins in the past, died last night.

He was 61 and had been ill for the last 11 months after being bitten on the leg by a Blandford fly when holidaying in Cornwall.

I'll really miss him.

RIP me old mate.

I met him a few times and he seemed a really nice bloke.

RIP

61 is far too young

It just goes to show the little things like horse flies and mozzzies can be dangerous

Sorry to hear this news Graham. I know you and he were the greatest of pals and you told me how he'd suffered recently, but it still comes as a great and sad surprise.

My deepest sympathies to Dave's family and friends including yourself, Graham.

This is sad news; Graham told me he was unwell a month ago. Dave took the cover shot on our pole Fishing book.
