Not before time this can be a great little river if they would let enough ground water get though to it I fished it a few times in the mid sixties after the dartford tunnel was opened it even had a few trout in there in those days.

A river close to my heart and to my home, I have 80yds of reasonable coarse fishing at the bottom of my garden!
When I was young, people used to canoe on it, my neighbour used to go into Dartford by boat, you wouldn't get very far now. By the 70's it was nearly bone dry. It is a bit better now, hasn't stopped flowing for a few years, but nothing like it was. I doubt it ever will be again but any improvement has to be a good thing.
