Grand Union Canal

Guys and girls, I'm off for a weeks narrowboat holiday on the Grand Union Canal around Market Harborough in July.

Naturally, I shall be taking my gear with me but don't know anything about the canal.

Can anyone give me some info on the canal? Species to target? Local tackle shops?
