Just wandering if any of the junior carp anglers in bristol bath are fishing the Junior carp 10 hour carp match at Bathampton's Huntstrete main lake on the 15th of june.

Or if other members have any hints or tips for the match / fishing in general at Huntstrete

Im no expert but I fish the main lake quite a lot.

Well, what a waste of time, i didn't draw a great peg and only two fish were caught between the 20 of us. a 14 lb er and a 11 lb. I caught an eel about 3 - 4lb and so did another about the same size, two lads caught bream and the rest blanked.

The lake was fishing hard, one person - i believe - hooked three fish and lost them in the lilies.

(and in the prize draw at the end i was last out the hat and ended up with a cap - others had marker float sets, expensive lines, PVA mesh kits, Carp books etc)
