Complete newbie to fishing at 47 years old! Just brought a load of cheap gear (Dragon Carp Direct) and ordered my rod licence from the post office, now, where do I go?
Where can I find places that I can fish for free? Its not that I am a skinflint or anything, just want to find a nice quiet brick pit or lake so that I can practice with my gear and probably reel in a few tiddlers.
Don't really want to sit by a lake surrounded by seasoned professionals and make a prat of myself!
So, can anyone suggest free places in or around Peterborough?
