How fondly I remember the many trips I had out of Bridlington in search of cod in the 50s and 60s. 8 hours at sea cost no more than 12/6d
Then you brought home up to 20 lovely cod, cleaned by the boatman. There's nothing to beat a nice piece of fresh cod caught and cooked on the same day.
I sincerely hope they still have boat trips out of Brid. Maybe you should consult the SeaAngler Magazine.
