Anybody on the South Coast had any cod yet from either boat or beach?
There's stacks of them in the Solent, ranging from 2 to 20lb.
From the beach is a bit of a grueller (as normal) but the boat fishing is great........

yep but you have to get away from the whiting first.
not my fish, my mates, we moved away from the whiting, first drop on the drop and he got that.

Woosey skipper called it off cos the wind was a bit from the wrong sort of South, I did point out that the wind on Tring was something we were used too, but he insisted that the boat would be uncontrollable and Tring was not a true comparrison!!!!!

Some old sea salt he was?
