Threatened Severn Fishery

Just been reading Ian Clokes exellent news thread and read about the protest to save the fishing on the town stetch .And was suprised to see two hundred anglers had turned out to show the council how important fishing is to the town.The point is do you think we should become more vocal and well more like the antis really to get our views across ,as it seems to be the only way to get heard, definatly a well organised and media savay operation maybe who organised it could be employed by angling in the future.,Well done anyway to those that did turn out.

I think it was Angling Times/Des Taylorwho organised it and in a manner of speaking they are employed by angling. They did a good job.
