Hi all im from wales i used to fish in local ponds up north (cumbria) coarse fishing for tench etc so its been about 20 yrs since i last fished anything my step son wants to go fishing he knows not much about it and has had a bad time when taken by his father so trying to get him into it slowly with coarse fishing he is autistic and seems really looking forward to it, Things seem to have changed a bit since i was last out with a rod it all seems carp mad lol anyway any tips advice feel free i will be fishing around carmarthen and llanelli and would like to have a bash at carp and pike in future but will mainly be going for the small stuff to start with at least untill stepson is happy to move onto bigger stuff.
