I know that I need to strip a couple of coats of the line to tie the hair...do I need to do the same to tie the swivel on the other end of the line? I only used quicksilver once before but not sure if I've done it right.

No Monk to tie a rope to hang you with lmao......

Claudia, Leave the coating on and tie a 3-4 turn water knot/ grinner, wet with spit and slowly ease together.
