bestwood duck ponds question

does anyone or anyone know about the bestwood duck ponds. thing is I joined notts anglers today with plans to fish tomoz but left my unhooking matt at home. im only fishing between the pole and feeder rod on poss lake 1 for a descent little bag. but if I was to hook into a bute I have no matt. will this be a big issue or will I get away with it. Im at the mrs now and matts at home if your wondering why I just don't go get it, any reply would be appreciated thanks

If you've not fished it before I shouldn't worry about it,if it still fishes like it used to the only brute you'll get is pike especially if you get the roach going
