Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of the 11lb / 2oz division version on the Super Samson scales?

Thanks

Paul

What's to say ? They are compact, cheap & though they are not the sort of scales to base a record claim on if you just want an "near enough" idea of what a fish weighs they are perfectly OK. In addition to my "proper" scales I have a couple of Super Sammies tucked away in other bags for precisely that reason....they take up no space & are no money.

S-Kippy,

Out of interest what are your 'proper' scales?

Cheers

Reubon Heaton Flyweights and a set of Korum Digitals. The Flyweights live in my "river" bag and the Korums go everywhere else. I have a set of SS in my trout/grayling bag and another set [heavier] in my sea trout bag. I rarely weigh fish but every now & then there will be one that I feel the need to get the scales out for.

The Flyweights have done me proud for years but I have to say I'm quite impressed with the Korums so far. Neither take up much room.
