You probably know or at least heard of old Parkie's observation several decades ago: "Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.", but I have a new one, let's call it Boote's Law: "Fish proliferate - anywhere, anyhow and very often unwisely - to fill the demand cynically created by a Fishy Few for the Witless Many."

Offer of a Knighthood or C.B.E. to be sent by personal message to my account here. Don't expect an answer.

I've found that "Fishing tackle expands so as to fill the space available for its storage".

Merely an inevitable knock-on effect of Boote's Law (says he, still recovering after opening a high cupboard the other night and being nearly brained by a saltwater Beastmaster multiplier that I forgot I had).
