Fishing in Brunei

I will be going to Brunei in a few weeks for 10 days (working, not holiday!). Can anyone tell me if its worth taking a travel rod or two?

I was thinking of taking aq fly rod and a spinning rod, but I din't have a clue what swims aound out there - does anyone have any idea and can anyone advise me what kit to take?

It looks like it's nearly all sea fishing out there (beach and charter boat fishing )

I contacted them and have received a reply with some good advice on lures, flies etc. Baramundi here we come!

John if its anything like the rest of south east Asia it will be fished to death with nets, dynamite etc. The fish are there, but in pockets, very often in places that are difficult to access.

I haven't fished for Barramundi myself but having spoken to those who have, I understand they are pretty well nocturnal.
