Hi guys my names Ian, I am looking forward to starting fishing again after 8 years without a cast in anger.
Why not get straight out there? Well unfortunately my nets have been eaten by mice as has my holdall. My ten year old Mitchell reel is not in the condition I thought I left it in, the whips in my rod bag are missing top sections, took my chair to a friends BBQ a few years back and ended up leaving it there. My tackle box is AWOL and I cant even remember if I left anything in there anyway.
In short I have a rod holdall in good condition, One very cheap rod purchased in France 12ish years ago and a brolly which is surprisingly as new. I have been searching for some cheap gear online to get me started and will hopefully add some quality to it in the coming months.
Hope the weather holds and i get onto the lake before too long.
