I recently seen a program about the fishing of 200lb+ congas in cornwall, I was just wondering if any of you have done this and if so roughly how much did it cost etc to get a boat and stuff?

Hi Mate; The best thing I would say to you is, If you look up the Eel/conga sites on the web, I,m sure that they will help you out there.

I do a lot off my Conga fishing over ship wrecks, and I use mackerel as bait.

It looks as exciting as it gets as some of the conga I seen off wrecks in cornwall where bigger than sharks and I think it would be a great day out.

It is exciting when you,ve got one on you,re hook, But be prepared to sit for a few hours before you get that bite. And don,t forget to take waterproofs and most important a life jacket with you, as the open sea can change in a matter of seconds.

I though you were on about some silly dance.

Was this on a #5 or #6 outfit? And did you use a mackerel dry fly?
