Grand Union Canal - Knowle

Hi all

Getting back into coarse fishing after spending most of the past 20 years sea fishing following a move from Solihull to Bristol. I grew up fishing the GU canal at Knowle back in the 70's when it used to be controlled by Coleshill DAS - used to have some wonderful roach fishing.

Haven't fished it for many years but thinking of taking my son there - does anyone know if the fishing is controlled by a club and whether day tickets are available? Hoping to fish the Hampton Road section.

Any help much appreciated as don't want to turn up to find we can't fish

Pretty sure the contact for that section is Dave Harris. Ring Bailey's of Warwick tackle shop, and they will give you his no. There is a notice advertising the section on the shop notice board. May be something to do with Barford AA, not sure, but Dave Harris is your man.
