River Bain access

hi all,im in the mood for some chub so was thinking about another trip to the bain and was thinking about from horncastle to martin sort of area,prob start off the day at horncastle and walk the bank towards martin.
Just wondering if anyone knows much about this area and if so can i get along the bank this way or is it all private farmland along the bank?
