greeting fellow fishaholics, i live on the banks of the lower shannon/lough derg area, have fished from a very young age,(44 now) (pike, course, salmon, and my first sortie into sea this year) , ive been lucky over the years in my catches, (pike to 27lb 9oz, bream to 11lb 4oz, eel to 8lb 4oz, perch to 4lb 2oz, salmon to 18lb 8oz, course bags to over 400lbs) ... but i do have one of the best rivers in europe casting distence from my back door, ive only just found this site and hope to learn from all of you , and if i can be of help to any of you, (maybe your planning a trip to or near my area, just ask, the Co Clare lakelands start just 15min drive from me), hello to one and all here..
