It’s coming to that time of year again and Peter has kindly offered to arrange a booking with Lindsay at the fishery once availability/interest is established. For any unfamiliar with the fishery it holds all the usual chalk stream species, is very close to Southampton and looks a bit like this - Lower Itchen Fishery for fly fishing one of the finest chalk stream rivers

Hopefully the usual faces can make it, also some new ones.
Jerry

PS Last year's early December visit stayed dry even though Windy was with us and we all know how wet is was around that time.................;)

Names below please - as numbers are restricted it will be first come first served.

the LIF is still a good coarse fishery so it is well worth a visit . . . . . .

This thread will remain "sticky" for a week or so to give al a chance to see it.

As ever, depending on date, I'm interested.

I'll be fishing it in a few weeks and really looking forward to it - lots more rain please!

Surely it couldn't be as bad as March 2012 again Graham (and we were still officially in drought then)...................

Both Jimmy and I would be interested if held on a weekend. It's a lovely stretch of water which although known for its fly fishing is an excellent mixed coarse fishery with some great specimens to be had.

Windy, where are you..........................

Right here and back from a nice time in the sunshine in Rome.... didn't do any fishing out there, thereby sparing the Pope a soaking. Just Saintly of me ;)

Up for any Sunday going. Coincidentally the one day of the week both Neil M and I are both free  - thereby enabling him to outfish me again for the umpteenth time  The man's got talent. Or more likely I just haven't :eek:mg:

Looking forward to it.

Now just have to decide where to go in search of a nights Catfish fishing during the rest of my summer holiday this week :D.

Cheers all, see you bankside.
