Hi All

Well not too much to tell been fishing on and off for 50+ years .

Had all my gear stolen a few years ago just about starting to gather new gear and take it up again .

Main interests are Canals ( i avoid carp like they are a festering plague ) mainly fish very light 3lb mainline is heavy .

My favorite place to fish right now is on the local canal here in tipton west midlands , Had some nice perch to almost 3lb, Roach and Rudd to good size and a few mystery fish that have stuck me on the bottom and stayed put ..

Lots of good advice on here so enjoy yourself and dont be shy.

Ive had a few 'bottom stickers' myself, one turned out to be a monster eel, another a massive (well 25lb ish) pike nieither of which I managed to get into the net

Some real animals down there, thats why a sleeper rod down the side is always worth a go.
