Hello,

I m occassionally fishing for river carp and it requires sort of specialised brute stopping power setup. I have as my 1st rod Grauvell specialist barbel 2,5 TC coupled with penn 560 and 30 lbs mono. The target fish is usually a carp of 10-20 pounds, these fellows are fighting like any barbel, but with power of heavy weight boxer. I m looking for my second rod. I dont cast far, but I need lots of stopping power. Could anybody tell me how does fox warrior carp in 2,75 compares to the barbel version of the warrior rod line in 2,25 TC ?
At the moment I m leaning towards the barbel rod really, but if you could somebody point me to video or some photose which show these rods bend under load etc, it would be very helpfull.

Thanks

No, on the continent. I tried to go lighter , but I kept loosing fish until I arrived to this. I have even stopped to try to get these on feeder rod - I have one Xheavy up to 180 gram and even that rod doesnt come close to the Grauvell 2,5 lbs rod. I dont play fish much on our wild rivers - its sure way to loose it. They are experts in finding rocks and submerged trees.
