Cormoran tackle

Is Cormoran tackle any good, I've always thought it to be a bit cheap, beginner stuff, how does it fair against the likes of diawa or shimano.

Dont have any Cormoran tackle so do not feel qualified to pass judgement, except to say that the old adage "You get what you pay for" rings true most of the time.

Had a baitrunner type reel, 35 class, good bit of kit.
Also have spinning rod to chuck out medium to heavy lures. This I've had for a good number of years and caught a fair few pike on it.
I was told by a Tackle shop owner that they did a baitrunner with built in alarm in the reel, but this was rubbish.
