Hi folks, I'm a returner to coarse fishing after about 40 years!! Fished rivers and canals in my teens, got married and sold my tackle to help buy my first house. Such is life. Now I'm retired and living in the Swadlincote area of Derbyshire. I've kitted myself out with the basics and I'm absolutely amazed how the sport has developed and I'm in wonder at the different variety of methods of fishing out there. Currently I'm like a sponge soaking up any and all information. My family have kindly bought me a Sensas 114, 13m Pole for xmas (off EBay) which I'm looking forward to having a go with. Any advice or guidance on any aspect of canal fishing, pole fishing and particularly venues around Swad would be very much appreciated.
