If you are after selling it make sure you get a good price for it some anglers would give there right hand to own one so if it is in good condition it should fetch what a person will pay and the longer you keep it it may well increase in value Check out some of the fishing tackle auctions and vintage rod sales sites. If it were mine I would not sell it or keep it in my shed.

Cheers Merv! I have tried looking with and without the 'd' (no D on the rod itself?)

And I have listed it on ebay! But I'm thinking of removing it and putting it up! I only learnt it might have some value after it was listed and started having a nose around the internet.

In a nutshell, it's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it. If you advertise it and someone wants it badly enough, you will get a good price. There is no absolute worth or value for most things. The trouble with "vintage" fiberglass rods is they are not "vintage" enough to be really sought after, but not "modern" enough to be used - they often need re-ringing/re-finishing if you want to fish with them, too. They fall a bit betwixt and between.

I had a Ledgemaster that I converted into a Bass rod and with it ive landed hundreds of fish up to 16lb from a tidal creek on floatfished live shrimps.

Goodish rod tho nothing romantic about it however the blanks are superb, made by Sportex if i remember correctly.

The biggest thing in selling old tackle is getting the right buyer . I never use ebay people seem to use ebay for a cheap deal . Tackle is often left until the seller drops the price. Finding a buyer or two buyers is the problem . If you want to sell it on the quick you sell it cheap. If you want a fair price you have to wait for the right buyer. Original condition and bag is all important so look after it.
