i've got nothing against john ellis as i've only met him once before and he seemed a decent chap...but i beleive he no longer fishes? also being a major employee of the canals and rivers trust who go out of there way to damage the river cherwell i find it a bit ironic he's involved with this meeting as he as slight conflict of interest when there's talk of improving thames tributaries?
that's not to detract from the good work he must do for the angling trust
