US Carp Record Broken

That is a truly enormous looking fish!

I'm quite surprised to read that the USA doesn't have the biggest of something :)

That pictured fish looks much bigger than 54lb.

Either the angler is a dwarf, or his arms are very long and he is holding it at full stretch - not easy!!

Great fish - well done.

I tend to agree with you Terry, the picture indicates a much larger fish than the reported weight.

I would imagine that it would be quite a feat to hold 54lbs at arms length .....

I always find carp pictures ridiculous. The thing looks photo shopped. :)

I thought he looked familiar.
Same chap who made the news a few years back with a 30lb koi.

forget about the weight and size its a magnificent fish, dont like the comment about bow hunting for carp I thought it had been banned. Ive fished for carp in canada and Im sure its been banned there.
