I fished the match, drawing Willows Lake, which didnt fish well, about 12kilo winning the lake. Loco Lake fished even worse, and the Strip Lake even worse than that!We were all hoping to draw Bonzai, which had 60 pegs on because in the words of the owner "if i put 40 pegs on they will finish 1st to 40th" We (Willows) couldnt win the 40 peg section cause we were put in with 20 pegs from Bonzai. I practised for the match and fished Willows, Strip,Beeches,Loco, these outings costing me about £80 in fuel and tickets and bait although i do not begrudge this because i had a days fishing.This proved to me that you cannot practise for a venue that has several different lakes, and several different methods on these lakes. Next year is Makins is that the correct name? I will just go on the day, if im lucky enough to be still here.PS the owner of Lindholme seemed a nice guy.
