Finally picked the rods back up after 10 year break, rejoined Darlington anglers. It's great to see that a lot of the areas still hold some clonking chub. However the two pairs of extremely large cormorants constantly flying over head was one change I never used to experience whilst sitting on the banks of the final stretch of clubs water. They where just starting to make a impact further south around the time I packed in emptying silver fish from a lot of lakes.

A fine river is the tees, my local, and I'm on there most weekends. Glad you decided to pick the rods up. Also, whilst the cormorants are increasing, the silverfish shoals are still massive (albeit the dace have moved downstream to the lower tees for the winter now!).

Hopefully bump into you on the bank sometime
