Did he drop an open can in the water then drink from it? or did he drop a can i nthe water , then open it

In the 1st case I'd have picked the can out , thrown the beer way and opened another can
if thet 2nd case I'd have taken the can home and washed it carefully before opening it

now I've seen the link i'd throw the can away in either case

Wow thats horrific. When i 1st saw the title i thought it was going to be a case of someone drowning. I cant comprehend how a bug in the water could cause that

I know they attribute this mysterious growth to the incident of water contaminating the beer, but its very strange why they cannot identify exactly what it was, even more peculiar is why it keeps growing back?

I often keep milk bottles in the water with the lid screwed on to keep cool without any problems, presumably this guys tinny was opened when it dropped in the water?, no matter, nobody in Australia will EVER take heed such as their love of amber nectar...
