Great to hear this as it was heart breaking to see the breach and the resultant loss of fish. Spent a lot of time on the canal from aged 5 to about 10 years ago when I moved away. Was a (junior) founder member and former Treasurer of Tiverton AC, so know what a treasure the canal is, with some great fishing, unlike your normal English canal. Big fish used to dominate matches, with great bream and tench fishing, plus pike and the odd carp.
