Fishing locations around Calthwaite

Hi wondering if anyone can help. I have hired a cottage in Calthwaite for Christmas. So looking for a couple of places to go fishing. Ideally I would like a river to trot for Greyling.I have seen that the River Eden and Petteril are very close. Has anybody here fished them? Any tips on swim locations

Also it would be ideal if there was a pike lake close buy as well.

You might find information difficult to come by. So much of the area is a coarse fishing desert. There is some information here and here, though it mostly revolves around fly fishing. You might be better served in contacting the tackle shop in Carlisle.
