The Bull at Downton doesn't even pretend now to live on its older glory or history.
As for the Old Oaks at Ibsley?
Well, after it reopened a few years ago it changed from a proper restaurant to a chain and to be honest the food is only marginally better than the service, which itself is rather poor.
Sadly, there is little other choice in the area now . . . . . . .
There are some lovely Dace coming out of Britford these days aren't there.
