6 brave souls attended Tring anglers match on the GUC at Cheddington this morning. As conditions worsened by the hour we called it off around midday. Nobody got a bite.

River Nidd was that far up, it was as if the weir was not there.

Caught a chub of 4lb 2oz, missed a bite and got snapped up by a big'un - 6.12lb hooklength!!

First time my mates fished it and he was happy with a 6lb bream



I caught a small bream and a small perch, I was quite taken with this photo of the latter though, for some reason

neil1970...............I suppose you didn't think to clean your finger nails......otherwise a very nice picture of a 4lb perch I'd say.








I might go out tomorrow, if only for some fresh air....
